About Your Provider
Every woman goes through this. Yet so many arrive at this stage of life with no idea what to expect, and nowhere near enough support to navigate it. That gap between how universal this experience is and how little help most women actually get — that's what this practice is about.
I've spent my career in women's health, first as a Labor and Delivery RN in the Metro Detroit area, then as a Certified Nurse Midwife in full-scope practice. I love this work, and I continue to practice as a CNM alongside running The Next Chapter Clinic.
Over time I noticed something that I kept coming back to: women going through perimenopause and menopause had so many questions, so many symptoms, and so much to discuss, but a standard appointment simply doesn't leave enough time to cover it all. There's the history, the education, the treatment options, the lifestyle piece. You can't do any of it justice in 10 or 20 minutes.
That gap in time, and in dedicated menopause education, is what The Next Chapter Clinic is built to close. When menopause care is the only thing on the schedule, there's finally enough room to do it right. Longer visits, real conversations, and a care plan that's built around the whole picture, not just the presenting complaint.
I hold both my CNM certification and the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) designation, the gold standard credential in menopause care, held by a small fraction of providers nationwide. I don't just understand menopause. I specialize in it. It is the entire focus of this practice.
If you've felt brushed off, rushed, or told your symptoms are "just part of getting older", I want you to know that you deserve better. And I'm here to provide it.

Menopause affects every woman, yet it remains one of the most undertreated conditions in medicine. Women are routinely told their symptoms are "normal," handed a pamphlet, and sent home. Meanwhile, effective, evidence-based treatments exist that most women never even hear about.
The Next Chapter Clinic exists because women deserve access to a provider who has made menopause their entire specialty, not a side note between OB and GYN appointments.
Longer visits. Real conversations. A care plan built around you. That's not a luxury, it's what good care looks like.
Hormone therapy has been misunderstood for decades. I practice using current evidence, not outdated fears, and I'll take the time to explain the real data so you can make an informed choice.
Hot flashes, brain fog, sleep disruption, mood changes, these are not imagined and they are not something you just have to endure. Every symptom you experience deserves to be taken seriously and addressed.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to menopause care. Your history, your symptoms, your values, and your goals all shape your care plan. I treat the whole person, not just the hormone levels.
Your initial visit is 60–90 minutes. Follow-ups are 30 minutes. This is not a rushed 10-minute appointment, there is actual time to talk through everything.
