Clinical Services
From your first perimenopause symptom to long-term hormone management, thorough, evidence-based care built around you as an individual.
Hormone therapy remains the most effective treatment for menopause symptoms and is appropriate for the majority of healthy women under 60 or within 10 years of menopause. At The Next Chapter Clinic, we practice using current evidence, not the outdated fears that have kept millions of women from getting the relief they deserve.
We evaluate your full health history, symptoms, and goals before recommending any treatment, and we take time to explain your options clearly so you can make an informed decision.
Good for: Hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal symptoms, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, low libido, and bone health maintenance.
Hormone therapy isn't right for every woman, whether due to personal preference, medical history, or other factors. Non-hormonal options have come a long way, and several prescription medications are now FDA-approved specifically for menopause symptom management.
We don't push hormones on anyone. If non-hormonal treatment is the right fit for you, we'll build a plan around that with the same level of care and attention.
Good for: Women with hormone-sensitive cancer history, personal preference for non-hormonal care, or those who haven't responded well to hormone therapy.
Menopause isn't a one-appointment fix. Hormone levels shift, symptoms evolve, and your care plan needs to evolve with them. Long-term management is where this practice truly shines, because you'll always see the same provider who knows your full history.
Most patients follow up every 6–8 weeks initially, then every 6–12 months once stable, depending on treatment. Secure messaging is available to all patients for clinical questions — you never have to wait for a full appointment to ask a question or report a symptom.
Good for: All patients, ongoing management is a core part of every care plan, not an add-on.
Weight changes during perimenopause and menopause are real and frustrating — and they're not just about calories. The hormonal shifts of menopause directly affect metabolism, fat distribution, and appetite regulation. For many women, GLP-1 medications are a meaningful part of addressing this.
Because we're already managing your hormonal health, we can prescribe and monitor GLP-1 therapy as part of your overall care plan — not as a separate program you have to find elsewhere.
On medication cost: GLP-1 medications are filled at your pharmacy separately from your visit fee. We help you find the most affordable cash-pay option — whether that's GoodRx, LillyDirect ($299/month), or a manufacturer savings card that can bring costs to as little as $25/month with commercial insurance.
Hormone therapy and medication are powerful tools, but they work best alongside the foundations of good health. Nutrition, movement, sleep, and stress management all play a meaningful role in how you feel during this stage of life.
While I don't provide specialized nutrition or fitness programming, I believe in caring for the whole person. The research is clear that strength training, quality sleep, balanced nutrition, and stress management all directly affect how you feel during the menopause transition — and how well your treatment works.
We'll talk about lifestyle factors that are relevant to your symptoms and care plan. I'll share what the evidence actually says and help you think through realistic changes that make sense for your life.
The goal: a complete picture of your health, not just a prescription. You deserve care that recognizes how all the pieces of midlife wellness fit together.
